RiverDrive is an old retro game project from Windows Phone, originally full project, developed with XNA and C#. This version is at early stage, developed using Monogame. We will develop the game further and for the bigger screen.

In the RiverDrive game, the river is always changing; you cannot learn the route – it’s always new! The boat is steered using arrow keys. The player increases the score by hitting colored buoys. Avoid the black mines! If you hit a mine or the shore, your boat will weaken by explosions bit by bit. There are also lock gates on the way, to be steered through with correct timing. Other obstacles are ferries and boats. You have to hit a gas station to pick fuel for your boat regularly and get your boat repaired at the dock. Otherwise you'll have to be rescued by the River Guard – and you lose your points and skill level!
